The "Pillars" in Guilford Center, formerly: Angel's Inn. This used to be a stage coach depot. The story has it that the building used to be topped with a beautiful angel. A patron offered the owner at that time a nice sum to purchase the angel. Drunk, he sold it to the patron and it was subsequently taken down and never seen again. | ||
