Eight years of history- a memoir of Gertie Pierce Boyd as told to Tina

This collection of Gertie's memories was compiled over a
two year period. Mostly in her own words, it covers the New York
State counties of Delaware, Otsego, Chenango, and Broome as her family's
history unfolded. Read of her Indian grandmother, WWII paratrooper cousin,
foster family, marriage at 16 years of age, and trials and tribulations of
a life lived with grace and energy as well as hard work and
determination.
